PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: As a member of the Medical Affairs team, the MSL supports the company, its products and relevant therapeutic areas by advancing scientific and collaborative relationships and acting as a liaison for timely scientific exchange with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, investigators, payors, formulary committees, and similar entities. The MSL is a subject matter expert for the product and the therapeutic area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical and medical-scientific education. Stakeholders management (KOLs, healthcare authorities, patients associations, etc.). Support to sponsored studies and proposed ISS. Scientific support to sales and marketing departments. Information Management / Insights. Ensure medical/legal excellence and compliance. Ensure that local Medical Affairs activities follow National and Local regulations. Represent Company Medical department in the territory, participating in local, regional, National and International congresses and producing qualitative reports regarding the more relevant communications. MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Health Care Professional (HCP) interaction and development. This will include developing relationships with various HCPs and providing them with credible, fair balanced, scientific information about T products and T product developments. Participation in scientific meetings will be essential, and the MSL will attend appropriate scientific congresses and conferences. The MSL will be a major source of balanced medical information for HCPs and will be capable of issues management and addressing questions about safety and use of T products based on available scientific data. The MSL will be expected to be an expert on our products and their therapeutic areas. This will involve regular and extensive reviews of the literature, developing presentations and assisting with publications and medical communications. The MSL will play a critical role in internal training and communication with the Medical Team, the franchise team, and territory managers. Knowledge sharing and education both internally and externally will be a key area of responsibility. The MSL will participate in cross-functional project teams upon request. The MSL will be responsible for assisting the Medical team in the identification of potential research projects and speakers. The MSL will work across the organization as required to assist and/or lead in interactions with HCPs across different geographies and be comfortable working in a matrix organization. SPECIFIC TASKS:
Collaborate for the scientific part in the key accounts plans and work cross-functionally to achieve KAP goals.
Specific Education And Experience Requirements:
MUST HAVE:
2+ years of experience in the role. Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Biotechnology or similar. Results orientation, ability to act innovatively and work in a team. Flexibility and ability to adapt to priorities. Availability for business trips in the area of competence. Fluent English, B2. Residence in Roma or Napoli. Experience in Specialty/hospital driven products. NICE TO HAVE:
