Material Controller

For prestigious Multinational Company,world leader in the industrial field, we are looking for:

MATERIAL CONTROLLER (MC/ad)

Focus on critical third party suppliers identified as chronic supply problems who seriously jeopardize plants production and commercial sales objectives. Scope includes single supply situation across multiple plants and regions, or single plant, depending upon supplier impact. After sales service parts are within scope where supply problem is common with manufacturing plants.

Tasks

• MC contact for daily communication with manufacturing plants as assigned and contact as required for third party suppliers as assigned
• Work in touch with Plants to anticipate, avoid and prevent any supply disruptions to manufacturing production schedules
• Accordingly with Manufacturing and Supply Chain targets, establish priorities and allocate parts/components where supplier is capacity constrained without capability to satisfactorily fulfill all schedules across multiple plants, service depots and regions
• Problem resolution with plants, third party suppliers, purchasing, Commercial, After Sales and any function required to solve the chronic problem
• Analyze and document supply problem details, including root cause, follow-up requirements, possible solutions and progress towards best solution to resolve
• Monitor and implement recovery plans; escalate issues, remove bottlenecks or barriers
• Maintain daily, detailed follow-up on all functional and supplier actions required and visit suppliers for critical cases, to verify if recovery plan are feasible and consistent with promises
• Interface with any/all regional MC team members and functions as required
• Provide support to North America, Latin America & International regions where critical supplier is located in Europe.
