We are currently seeking a **Market and Planning Manager for Large Power Converters **to join our dynamic team in **Bologna, Italy **!
The Market and Planning Manager for Large Power Converters is responsible for providing market analysis and insights in both existing and new markets, understanding market behaviors, and identifying effective entry strategies into new markets. This role includes supporting segment strategy reviews and meetings and driving planning activities within the Large Power Converters global team. The manager is tasked with organizing and coordinating projects or events, ensuring efficient resource allocation and meeting deadlines. A key aspect of this role is strategic planning and execution respecting deadlines.
**What responsibilities will you have?**
- Conduct market analysis to gather insights in current and potential markets, engaging and collaborating with external sources for comprehensive understanding.
- Interpret market behavior to forecast trends and opportunities.
- Develop and support strategies for entering new markets.
- Organize and execute Voice of Customer (VOC) campaigns, and interpret VOC data in collaboration with the offering team.
- Lead planning activities within the Large Power Converters global team.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with necessary resources, ensuring follow-ups and escalations when needed.
- Align activities with organizational goals.
- Analyze data to identify patterns, opportunities, and improvement areas.
- Optimize processes to enhance group productivity.
- Assist in developing presentations on strategy and market-related topics. Perform other duties as required.
**What are the keys to your success?**
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electrical, electronics), Management engineering. Business or related degree.
- MBA and prior consulting, strategic planning or product marketing preferred.
- Ability to quickly develop cross functional relationships to achieve business objectives.
- Strong written/oral communication, especially in communicating customer needs.
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Effectively communicates technical information and complex ideas.
- Approximately 10% travel is required.
- Participation in global calls outside of normal working hours. Experience in Power Conversion and markets will be considered as an advantage.
