Cepheid is proud to work alongside a community of six fellow Danaher Diagnostics companies. Together, we're working at the pace of change on diagnostic tools that address the world's biggest health challenges, driven by knowing that behind every test there is a patient waiting. This shift will start at 5pm-5am, Sunday-Tuesday with alternating Saturdays.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Work closely with Production and Engineering to monitor equipment status and performanceProactively address problems using the appropriate troubleshooting and repair techniquesAssess the equipment's performance and repair history and work with engineers to plan a preventative maintenance schedule as well as work on equipment upgrades as appropriateThe essential requirements of the job include:
Education and Experience (in years): High School degree (or equivalent experience) with 2-4 years of related work experience or AA or Technical Trade Degree with 1-2 years of related work experienceMust have solid understanding of interpreting manuals and schematics and have strong knowledge in mechanical alignment and the troubleshooting of automated mechanical, electrical and pneumatic equipmentMust have experience working with pneumatics actuators and cylinders and familiarity with electrical/electronic components, Automation, Robotics, Sensors, Fiber Optics and motorsPreferred Qualifications:
Understanding of Electrical and Electronic componentsThe salary range for this role is $25.38-$33.65. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
