Position overview*
Logistics Specialist is responsible for processing internal (own entities) and external (customers) orders - beginning with creation of shipping documents over arranging transport and invoicing - to ensure prompt, accurate and cost-efficient supply.
In this role you will also be responsible for processing export orders with custom formalities.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare shipping documents (delivery notes, invoices, origin - and preference papers, papers for shipping hazardous materials) and determine form of shipment, supervise freight charges and prepare customs declarations.
- Coordination of the transportation management.
- Responsible to optimize payloads of trucks/containers/bulk trucks.
- Continually improve the processing of all shipments with due regard to financial and customs related requirements.
- Arrange and prepare docs for custom clearance and statistical messages.
- Arrange and prepare communication/documents for documentary business (Letter of credits etc.
).
- Responsible to manage all export shipments
- Arrange export customs clearance in export customs procedures
- Printing of labels for CLP materials and for special countries requirement
- Supporting the annual and the cycle inventories
- Supporting the continuous improvement with the lean projects with the internal and external warehouse/teams
**Required skills and experience**
- Experience in a role related to Shipping, transportation, custom procedures or administration.
- Good English knowledge, typewriting, custom know-how, SAP, basic knowledge of Microsoft Offices.
- Pro-active with the ability to anticipate problems and solve them right at the onset.
- Ability to handle a lot of pressure, flexibility and the courage to follow unconventional paths.
- Responsibility for problem finding and problem solving/decision making preparations.
