Job Description Ecolab is seeking a Logistic Specialist for our Vimercate (MB) headquarter, for the Italian, Switzerland & Greece market.You will join our Supply Chain Planning team playing a vital role in Planning, Warehousing, Transportation, Forecasting, Logistics Cost management for Europe Marine business.
What you will do:
To ensure products availability to fulfill customer requests on time in full, Customer Management.To ensure costs optimation:
manages various pricing, payment and cost accounting requirements for multiple functions and sites.Material&Warehouse ManagementLeads functional projects of high complexity.Provides analysis, forecast, audit, and reporting support to identify, recommend and implement cost saving alternatives and process improvements for existing operations.Supports new and emerging business growth and provides analysis necessary to formulate standard practices/procedures.Leader in logistics administration with wider responsibility for cost and/or service in business unitor market.
Might manage tenders and RFQs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or Logistics, Transportation or related field.
Previous experience in logistic-supply chain field (3+ years)Fluent in English (you will interact with associates from all Europe).Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular with Excel.Willingness to travel around Europe (your main office will be in Vimercate).Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Strong analytical skills.
