To take our product to the next level of impact, we are currently looking for a Lead User Researcher . This position offers an opportunity to drive significant change in the mental health landscape.
AS A LEAD USER RESEARCHER YOU WILL:
You'll join an existing team of product designers already conducting directional research on current projects. You'll work with squads to ensure research plans are fit for purpose, and help them with best practices.
You'll use qualitative & quantitative research techniques in foundational research to understand our users deeply, champion our patients and therapists by being their voice within the company. This research will generate new ideas and inform product strategy, as well as helping our product teams create solutions that our user bases really need.
You'll work with teams and stakeholders across the organisation to share insights and educate on the power of user research.
You'll coordinate external research agencies and contractors where needed to conduct: Specialist user research outside the capabilities of the internal team
Research in the different markets and languages that we operate in
You'll move forward projects with a high level of autonomy and translate business objectives into research strategy and plans.
You'll coach designers and product managers in different research methods.
You'll hire new researchers as and when our hiring plan allows for it, but initially you'll be the only dedicated researcher.
YOU WILL BE THE PERFECT FIT IF:
You speak fluent Italian or Spanish to a level required to conduct research, as well as English.
You're an experienced user experience professional who's contributed to multiple projects on multiple shipped products. You can demonstrate the impact your research has had both tactically and strategically.
You understand the best practices of research and have extensive experience in a wider range of methods.
You stay at the very forefront of the field and on top of the newest tools and methodologies.
You're aware of Information Architecture theory.
You work with product strategy to plan advance research and identify gaps in user knowledge as it relates to that strategy.
You have worked closely with related disciplines on research strategies for complicated studies.
You have a focus on educating colleagues on UX research practices and methodologies.
You can clearly communicate rationale to partners and have developed persuasion techniques.
You have experience with research repositories and making research accessible to all.
You have conducted and coordinated research with different cultures and languages.
You have experience working with external agencies and/or contractors to create and execute research plans.
