Lead Backend Engineer

At Mindmymind (Permanent), in Multiple Locations Expires at: 2024-10-13 Remote policy: Full remote As the Lead Backend Engineer, you will be at the helm of our backend development team.
Your primary responsibilities will include architecting and implementing server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
You will also oversee data storage solutions, maintain the central database, and ensure high data integrity and security.
? Key responsibilities: Designing and developing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code.
Translating software requirements into stable, working, high-performance software.
Playing a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient microservices distributed architecture.
Leading a team of backend developers, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with front-end developers.
Main requirements Extensive experience in backend development, with a proven track record in a lead role.
Expertise Python Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache) Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
Excellent understanding of server-side logic and scalability.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Great communication skills and fluency in English.
