Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Engineer

MISSION Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Engineer executes the assigned activities following the instructions given by the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader and in accordance with the Engineering Practices and Quality Standards in force within the team, job requirements, time schedule and cost requirements.


Key activities and responsibilities To keep the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader fully informed on the status of his/her activities; To ensure adequate flow of information within the job team; To prepare, under the supervision and following the instructions of the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader and in accordance with the applicable work instructions, stress calculation, supports design, material requisitions, technical evaluation of the bids proper of his specialty; To check the pipe supports marked up on piping construction drawings of non-critical lines by the Design & Drafting Group; To file drawings and documents according to the instructions of the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader. This position can be filled by a Senior Engineer having a higher independence in performing the job.



Skills/Qualifications: 5 Years of Experience Education: Bachelor's Mechanical degree is preferred Fluent English Use software stress calculation (Caesar II) and AutoCAD Knowledge of PRG FePipe
