Date: Jun 8, 2024 Employment Schedule: Full time Location: Aalst, BE Junior group operations controller Ontex is a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions for all generations.With a global team of around 7,500 employees, we develop, produce and distribute in about 100 countries through leading retailers and healthcare providers.As an equal-opportunity employer, we value diversity at our company and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all our employees.To reinforce our Finance team we are looking for a Junior group operations controller.As a group operations controller you support the operations division as a true business partner.Based on your analysis the business can take the right decision.We anticipate risks and opportunities and provide early warnings.We are in charge of all reporting related to the operational costs.As the junior controller you will support the colleagues from the team in all 3 areas.On top you will be responsible for specific projects/Tasks such as: Improving the accuracy and predictability of our capex reporting Evolving the capex reporting from a end of year forecast to a 3 year rolling forecast, aligning this with the plants and plant controllers Delivery of monthly reporting to group finance Preparation of the monthly reporting deck toward our executive management team improvement of reporting, challenging the current reporting portfolio, propose improvements, execute and roll out the new reporting towards plants and or group finance Support the procurement controlling to have a better understanding of the cost evolution Support the supply chain controlling with detailed transport analysis Job requirements: Masters in applied economics or business economics with 3-5 years' experience in financial consultancy or controlling.Knowledge of SAP and BI or comparable software tools, excellent knowledge of excel Strong presentation skills Accuracy and reliability is key for the job.An eye for detail as well as the ability to think analytically and a drive to strive for continuous improvement.A person that takes ownership of his tasks and communicates effectively to the other stakeholders.Being able to adapt to changes and to quickly absorp new information.We enthusiastically invite candidates from all backgrounds to apply and we ensure a fair selection process.Join our team and experience the positive work atmosphere, all while enjoying a high level of autonomy and flexibility, and a broad package of fringe benefits.
