Your work could include supporting your team as they improve operational processes with new hardware, automate manual processes and question solutions to find the best option for the business.

Key job responsibilitiesDevise and manage projects, including new technology deployments and internal programmesManage and solve challenges involving IT infrastructure, such as local site networks, services and hardwareSupport the team with a range of work, including improvements to operational processes, manual work automation and analysis of solutionsDeploy, maintain and troubleshoot IT solutions throughout their lifecycleManage and develop on-site support teams and recruit new talent A day in the lifeAs an IT Manager, you'll be responsible for multiple sites and work in different settings where no two days are the same.
You'll make sure the IT infrastructure on-site is maintained and operational so that teams can deliver on behalf of our customers.
Taking a data-driven approach, you'll find opportunities to increase automation and efficiency, and pilot different technologies to support these objectives.
You'll report directly to the Regional IT Manager and will lead on-site support teams, coordinate changes and technology launches, and manage risks.
This is a collaborative role that will see you working with site leaders and developing people in your team to progress.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSA degree in Computer Science or another technical fieldRelevant experience in managing IT teams and projectsAdvanced proficiency in verbal/written English and the local languageRelevant experience of creating documents like narratives or white papers to present key metrics and their impact on business objectivesRelevant experience working with networks, IT infrastructure, or system integration PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon.
