Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Administrator with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), a solid understanding of network and security protocols, and a passion for optimizing cloud environments. You will play a key role in managing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Main Activities Cloud Infrastructure Management: Provision, configure, and manage cloud resources across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost efficiency. Implement strategies to optimize resource usage and reduce costs. Security Management: Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments by implementing best practices, conducting regular audits, and managing access controls. Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud services and infrastructure. Provide support for cloud-based applications and services. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and operational procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with Network engineers, and other IT staff to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions and applications. Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to improve operational efficiency. Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new cloud technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our cloud strategy. Desired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cloud Administrator or in a similar role. Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Networking & Security: Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, security groups) and cloud security best practices. Scripting/Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible). Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or equivalent) are a plus. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
