The service we bring to our corporate and financial institutions clients revolves around three main activities - investment banking, financing, and markets.
Mission:
Société Générale is making a significant investment in expanding its Equity Capital Markets team. The Equity Capital Markets team is responsible for the origination and execution of equity capital markets transactions for our corporate, financial institution, and sponsor clients. The Italian ECM team works closely with counterparts in EMEA, US, and Asia.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Work with Managing Directors, Directors, and Vice Presidents to originate and develop new ECM client relationships.
Collaborate with the ECM team, sales, trading, and others to execute ECM transactions.
Prepare ECM knowledge-specific client presentations with attention to detail.
Handle execution responsibilities for public and private equity capital markets transactions.
Support origination and execution of transactions, including preparation of marketing materials.
Develop relationships with colleagues abroad and among the Italian coverage and business lines teams.
Manage juniors to keep detailed records of client interactions and execution timelines.
Provide relevant market updates to the team, including following global equity capital markets.
Profile required
Studies & experience:
MBA or Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or accounting.
At least 3+ years of prior relevant ECM experience.
Language skills:
Proficiency in English and Italian.
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
Proficient in corporate financial analysis and necessary software programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience with Bloomberg data, Factset, Eikon.
Strong presentation skills, both orally and in writing.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and deliver under tight deadlines.
Solid interest and understanding of financial markets.
