**Key Responsibilities**:
- Curate and create high-quality news, features, and analysis for our English-speaking audience in the finance, business, and economy sectors
- Work with writers and journalists to ensure accuracy, clarity, and engaging language in all written content
- edit the translation of Money.it's Italian-language news stream
- Develop and maintain a network of reliable sources in the finance and business industries
- Stay informed about current events and news trends to identify and pitch story ideas
- Collaborate with the social media team to promote and distribute articles on various platforms
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve content quality and reach a wider audience
- Follow SEO best practices to increase website ranking and optimize content for search engines
- Monitor and analyze website traffic and engagement to identify and capitalize on trending topics and keywords
- Stay updated on industry developments, changes in financial regulations, and competitor news to maintain the website's competitive edge.
**Requirements**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in editing news, preferably in English
- Strong knowledge of financial and business terminology and familiarity with stock market and economic trends
- Experience in digital media and in using SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
