The challenge
Haier Europe is part of Haier Smart Home, the number one company globally in major appliances. Haier Europe runs a high-end and ecosystem brand strategy with 3 major brands (Haier, Candy and Hoover) covering the wider European region. Haier Europe reported over 2022 a 3.2 billion sales revenue, is head-quartered in Milan and is present in virtually all countries in and around Europe with over 10.000 employees.
The team has only recently been established but is highly ambitious. It strives to combine modern internal audit approaches (RPA, data analytics, behaviour auditing etc) with a strong business and value-add mindset. The company's ERM process is part of HEIA's responsibilities.
The HEIA team has currently 2 staffs in The Netherlands and is expanding in Italy. Given the strong focus on an audit approach that supports the CEO with the execution of the strategy, the team will be relatively small, and will host only seasoned professionals that are capable of addressing all risks relevant for our company. Mandatory C-SOX compliance testing is not part of HEIA's procedures. Currently we are recruiting a senior level internal audit professional.
