The Insights Manager Italy, within Imperial Brands Global Insights function, reporting to the Cluster Head of Insights is a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, working closely with the Italian Organization, ensuring consumer and data-led decision making, meeting stakeholders' insight requirements.
The role will drive (based on Insights) in collaboration with other functions the evaluation of: Pricing Scenario, Impact on new Launches, Brand & Trade Activities ROI and Innovation.
The successful candidate will lead the local Insights Team of 2 people, assuring the development of appropriate skills and behaviors to deliver timely, commercially sound, actionable recommendations supported by independent consumer data.
Principle AccountabilitiesBusiness Partner to in-Market stakeholders and their teams, representing the voice of the consumer and customer at key decision-making forums.Accountable for delivering Insights relating to business planning, performance management (including strategic pricing investments), and forecasting and brand Insights, in accordance with centrally set standards and within agreed delivery timescales / terms of the SLA.Translate business needs into robust insight requirements that can be used to shape the design and execution of insight projects.Make best use of central, self-serve resources such as the global Insights Hub, best-practice toolkits, reporting templates etc., developing an expert understanding of how these work.Articulate how Insights contribute to the achievement of Imperial Brands' strategy, individual team, and market strategies, as well as in delivering a clear view of consumer needs and commercial economics to aid decision making.Provide actionable, commercially sound and data driven recommendations. Will use independent consumer Insights to guide / drive data driven decision making and challenge perceptions when required.Skills & Experience RequiredRelevant Insights experience within multinational FMCG organizations.Strong knowledge of Insights techniques across brand, marketing, and forecasting.Ability to apply innovation learnings to inform product launches.Excellent communication skills regarding Insights in a persuasive, articulate and engaging way, and challenging stakeholder perspectives.People management skills with proven ability to coach and motivate a team of direct reports in all aspects of performance.Language fluency in English is a must, and fluency in Italian is a plus.What We OfferIn return for playing your part in building our future, you will receive a comprehensive compensation package with salary, bonus scheme and many extras including generous holiday entitlement and hybrid/flexible working opportunities as well inspiring places to work and collaborate with purpose.
