Within "ISP-Procurement" Direction of MBDA Italy SpA we are looking for a "Infrastructures Project Procurement Manager".
Master degree: Master's degree (engineering) or Business Law's degree completed by an international procurement master's degree Professional experience More than 5 years experienced in international project procurement and subcontracting activities Role activities: The candidate will be assigned to Client Infrastructures Project(s) as the main representative of the Client Infrastructures Procurement entity, will be responsible for all the procurement and subcontracting activities required for the Client Infrastructure Project(s) he/she is assigned on.
He/she is responsible for the contracts and purchase orders implementation for all engineering, procurement and construction activities required on the project. He/she assists the Project Manager in the write-up of the scope of work. In line with the procurement procedures and strategies defined at entity level, he/she defines the specific project procurement plans, with consideration of Client's contractual and Project's requirements. He/she defines the subsequent project procurement documentation package (RFI-P/CBT/PO …). He/she implements the applicable procurement plans and is responsible and accountable for project procurement objectives and expected services. He/she implements the suppliers and contractors qualification process according to entity's policy. He/she ensures that confidentiality of all information is strictly maintained. He/she must regularly inform the Client Infrastructures Procurement Manager of any events affecting the economic conditions of the contracts, the performance of suppliers or contractors and leading to modify the procurement strategy and objectives of the Project. He/she participates in the development of the Client Infrastructures Procurement entity tools and methods. Professional, organisational and soft Competences Good knowledge of Industrial Infrastructures, project organization and execution methodologies. Procurement skills in an international environment: Sourcing, qualification, tendering, negotiation, contract execution follow-up, contract close-out management. Skills for preparing project procurement plans and relevant documentation. Contractual skills for drafting, negotiating and concluding engineering, procurement and construction agreements in the frame of industrial infrastructure projects. Analytical skills for costs-analysis, costs-negotiation, variation orders tracking and negotiation. Capacities to follow-up contract agreements and skills to negotiate claims and variation orders. Knowledge / ability to work with procurement IT tools. Dynamism and pro-activity, capacity to work in a project team configuration. Taste for international projects, in a multi-cultural environment. Highly motivated for developing emerging procurement activities and tools across international group. Interested-by aeronautical defense industry and its applications. Lead the research, evaluation and approval of new suppliers. Develop and maintain supply market knowledge. Manage and escalate the major supplier risks. Manage supplier relationship, improve supplier performance, and lead strategic business reviews. Ensure tenders/POs are in conformance with the strategy. Secure saving objectives in accordance to MBDA strategy and targets. Linguistic Knowledge Fluent English.
