Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion, and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina, and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position: Role Purpose To support the Sustainability and Impact Director and the Head of Human Rights in the following activities: Support the implementation of specific initiatives to reduce risks for human rights (health and safety, environment, safeguarding, labour, etc.)
in any OCOG activities, as foreseen in the Sustainability and Legacy Strategy.
Support the implementation of the Due diligence process within the most risky supply chains.
Support in the set up of the activities of the Sustainability Impact Area in compliance with Olympic Host Contract and Master Schedule, focusing on human rights, diversity, gender equality, inclusion, and safeguarding.
Support the implementation of actions for the employment inclusion of people referred to Law 68/99.
Support the implementation of the grievance mechanism of the OCOG and promote it within the different targets.
Contribute to ensure the continuous monitoring of human rights, gender equality, inclusion, and safeguarding performance and its reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to ensure the implementation of the integrated management system for sustainability reporting and for the measurement of the Games' positive impact.
Support in the implementation of the Olympic Truce programme.
Requirements: Role Competencies: Project management skills, possibly with a track record of managing activities in Human Rights and DEI sector with a specific managerial and technical role in the topics/skills listed below.
Knowledge of Italian legislation related to human rights, gender equality, diversity, inclusion.
Strong learning attitude to quickly familiarize with them.
Skills and Abilities: Educated to degree level, preferably in humanistic and/or legal education.
Able to use own initiative and carry out activities with minimal supervision from senior managers.
Project and resource management skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary working environment.
Good communication skills and ability to provide clear, succinct, and well-argued presentations - formally and informally.
Ability to identify problems/issues, seek pertinent information, evaluate data, and develop appropriate solutions quickly and thoroughly.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to devise creative solutions to complex and sensitive issues whenever emergencies strike.
Computer skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Smartsheet (nice to have).
Fluent in English, preferably with a second language.
