Your Role:
Management Systems:
Leader Equal valid voice Strong ownership of EHSS topics Implement and maintain the EHS management systems, considering the international standards, EHS policy, legal requirements, customer requirements, and others that the organization subscribes Implement and maintain Aptiv Procedures (included in EOS) Promote system's enhancement and continuous improvement Participate in the definition of awareness communication, internal and external, about the policy, objectives, and action plans. Prepare, participate and follow up on the corporate audits Ensure timely closure of corporate findings (CAPs) Lead LWDC investigations and preparation of safety bulletins on site. Ensure timely response of monthly environmental metrics and monthly safety metrics Prepare for external and internal audits Lead ISP 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 certification processes Train new EHS resources when applicable Support the deployment of training program driven by corporate Focus on leading indicators Drive the execution and proper management of change of environmental aspects and impacts identification and evaluation and occupational H&S risk assessment. Drive the implementation and follow up of the emergency response plan Drive the implementation and follow up of the outbreak plan Support the plant manager on conducting and following up on PSRB Drive the implementation and track of SOTs Support the execution and follow up on the plan of Zero Coordinate and promote sustainability within the plan, being the first point of contact Operational Control:
Ensure implementation of look across process Ensure compliance with the requirements and execution of the different management routines associated with the following: Waste Management Industrial Hygiene (Chemical, PPE, Radiation, Noise, Laser, Asbestos, Lead, etc.) Confined spaces Fall hazards Contractors control PIV and Pedestrian Safety Ergonomics Machine safety, Lockout Water and wastewater Air quality Operating System Compliance:
Perform the EHS OSA at the sites and comply with defined goal. Verify compliance with EHS Aptiv requirements during construction of new sites Provide heads up information and safety bulletin investigation within respectively, 24 hours and 7 days Deploy of safety A3/ Safety Improvement plan for the site SQDIP Input and Monitoring:
Perform SQDIP input and monitoring, as defined on processes. Report the EHS metrics and indicators on time. Coordinate the implementation of projects to reduce water consumption and CO2 emissions and climate change effects. Your Background:
Minimum 3 years experience EHS legal requirements knowledge Degree/Diploma in Health & Safety ISO 14001 Management system ISO 45001 Management system ISO 50001 Management system (when applicable) Risk assessment Environmental aspects and impacts identification and evaluation Experience in Waste management, Emergency response, Chemicals management, Ergonomics, Specific works with high risks, Incident investigation, Confined spaces, Safety culture, Personal Protective Equipment, Design for environment, health & Safety (DIEHS), PIV and Pedestrian safety, Pollution control, Lockout, Contractors control, Behavior based safety.
