Group Accounting Policies and IFRS Reporting Intern Within the Group Accounting Policies, Consolidation and Financial Reporting Unit, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.Key responsibilities of the role will include:Support the monitoring of the consistent application of accounting principles (IAS/IFRS) and recurring reporting activities, as part of the preparation of the consolidated financial statements on a quarterly basisDefinition and updating of Generali IFRS data model consisting of group accounting manual and related guidelines, chart of accounting, reporting hierarchies, and data validationsPreparation of Group's public and internal IFRS disclosureSupport the collection, analysis, and reporting of Pillar 3 dataRequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:University graduate (or candidate) in Economics and Finance, with preference for academic studies in the financial sectorElementary knowledge of general accounting and IFRSGood Knowledge of the Office suite applicationEnglish proficiencySoft skills:Ability to work in a team, managing different aspects/concepts simultaneouslyCapability to meet assigned deadlines and work under stressFlexibilityStrong motivationCompany ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
