Global Portfolio Manager Your role and responsibilities You will be responsible for supporting the business results by overseeing each step involved in the offering lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. You will be mainly accountable for:
Understanding current and future market requirements and customer benefits for High-Voltage Grid Components. Location: Ratingen; Germany, Dalmine; Italy, Helsinki; Finland.Leading the market intelligence analysis. Understanding and defining the current market segmentation and related product positioning. Identifying potential gaps in the portfolio (vs. competition, for new market opportunities and trends).Owning the technical and market specification for the product line and determining a product line strategy that supports the highest customer benefits/satisfaction and sustainable growth.Leading the life cycle management process, analyzing current products, defining, and tracking performance metrics, and planning appropriate measures to ensure attractive products/solution offerings.Acting as a partner and interface between external market and internal functions, e.g., Sales, Operations, and Research & Development.Defining new product plans and business models. Contributing to the development of new products/solutions by leading customer needs and value analysis, planning, and contributing to a product roadmap creating maximum value.Prioritizing new product development projects with commitment for the achievement of targets and coordinating and motivating the cross-functional teams accordingly.Initiating and supporting product market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation.Managing different channel-to-market scenarios in coordination with channel partners and Marketing & Sales to ensure the best market coverage.Defining product customer value proposition per segment and channel and ensuring clear communication to channels and users, to deliver clear product benefits and positioning.Qualifications for the role Master's Engineering Degree in Electrical with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the sub-transmission electrification business.Experience in or knowledge of global electrical networks (standards, products, applications, utilities) is a plus.Analytical capabilities with futuristic thinking and good acumen "how to make it happen".Customer, quality, application-driven attitude.Collaborative, purposeful approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills.Advanced English is required.More about us We look forward to receiving your application (documents submitted in English are appreciated).
