Global Commodity Leader - Machinery & InvestmentsFor our HQ in Milan, we are looking for a Machinery & Investments Buyer, responsible for Capital Expenditure within the overall Prysmian perimeter, managing Purchasing activities related to new and used Machinery sourcing, Plants construction / expansion and Spare Parts contracts.
The activities must be performed in strict cooperation with Engineering & Investments and Operations of Prysmian Group Head Quarter and WW Countries Internal Customers, fitting Purchasing strategy into the project / contract flow and timeline and supporting project delivery.
The ideal candidate manages the whole Purchasing flow for the assigned Commodities: from Sourcing to Procurement, using the necessary technicality (i.e. SAP flow) to correctly set the Procurement to Payment flow.Our person will also be responsible for supporting the Global Commodity Strategy Definition and Management: Spend Analysis, Volume Bundling, Sourcing Pipeline, Cost Analysis & Benchmarking, Vendor Management, Financial Audit & Technical capability / Production assessment.Who are we looking for? At least from 5 to 7 years of relevant sourcing and procurement experience possibly in multinational companies with a strong knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures.Experience on technical equipment sourcing will be considered as a plus.Strong negotiation skills.A master's degree in engineering or economics.Flexible mind set.Problem-solving attitude.Strong ability to network and work with international teams.Capabilities in managing priorities and time.Fluent English both written and spoken.Good knowledge of Windows Office application.Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
