Our software has been specifically designed for the publishing industry: unlike customized versions of generic ERP solutions, it has been built to meet the unique needs of this industry and combines detailed and specialized knowledge in this area with modern technology.
We contribute to the success of more than 400 publishers with over 3,000 imprints and over 24,800 users in 140+ locations, seamlessly covering every aspect of the publishing processes.

The successful candidate will live within commutable distance from our office in Gioia Del Colle, Bari office, working in a hybrid work model!
What your day will look like:
Fluent in server-side technologies and architecture (Java/JPA/Jax-RS/Hibernate)
Design and develop APIs
Participate in requirements analysis
Perform effective code reviews and provide guidance on solutions
Collaborate with internal teams to produce software designs and architectures
Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Write technical documentation
Integrate data storage solutions, including databases (Oracle), key-value stores (Redis), blob stores, and No-SQL (Solr)
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
Write unit tests and ensure high code coverage to improve software quality and maintainability (Experience with JUnit/JMeter)
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers
Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
Experience with Agile methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Develop and maintain web applications using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS/Angular, HTML5, CSS, and Sass
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
About you:
Proficiency in backend technologies: Java (8 or higher), SQL-92 (or higher), PL/SQL, Oracle
Proficiency in frontend technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, AngularJS/Angular 2.0+, HTML5, CSS, Sass
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for software development and a willingness to dive into complex and challenging tasks
Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with cloud-based services
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, Micro frontend architecture, Angular, and/or AngularJS
Familiarity with JBoss Wildfly
Familiarity with Keycloak/OpenID Connect/OAuth 2/JWT
Familiarity with ActiveMQ/AMQ
Familiarity with Solr/ElasticSearch
Respect existing architecture, methodology, and processes but also bring new ideas and challenges when appropriate
At least a professional level of English, both written and verbal, is essential
