Galileo is looking for a Finance Analyst/Associate who will be based in Milan, reporting to Galileo's Group Financial Planning Director.
What you'll do: Support the Group Financial Planning Director in managing the consolidation of financial forecasting and budgeting processes (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet); Modelling of the Company's business plan; Assisting the Group Controller in the preparation of support packs for the Board of Directors, the Audit Risk and Compliance Committee as well as other ad hoc shareholder deliverables; Support the development and application of a consolidated company valuation model for shareholder valuation purposes; Manage control structures to ensure timely and accurate results and forecasts and feedback loops to the business; Implement, coordinate, and track actual vs forecasted budgets across various departments and projects including M&A transactions, project development, and construction activities; Conduct variance analytics and support the key business stakeholders on an action plan to achieve positive changes to the operational metrics; Manage relationships with business and functional leaders to ensure that finance and accounting needs and activities are understood and integrated into the wider business.
Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; At least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate finance or FP&A; Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; another European language is a plus; Attention to detail and analytical attitude; Enthusiasm and self-motivation, including a willingness to take on new challenges and broad responsibilities.
