Due to the rapid expansion of Mindray's success, we have an opportunity for a dynamic service expert to demonstrate creativity and innovation as a Field Service Engineer within our ultra-ambitious team as we continue to disrupt the market! You will be based in the Lazio region, available to travel, and willing to work hard to deliver the quality of service that our customers expect. In this role, you will ensure that our customers receive the best possible service support, and that the service is consistently of the highest quality.
This role will be shaped by the right candidate, and we are looking for you to be a driven expert with a background in Ultrasound. Of course we will give training, but you will be a self-starter, with an unquestionable service and customer facing skills, happy to travel, energised by a varied and fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities: Respond to customer calls during office hours, Monday to Friday, ensuring customers are contacted within 24 hrs of their initial call. Support dealers ensuring the best possible customer experience of Mindray. Manage your designated service area including promoting new contracts and liaising with customers for renewals. Take a project management role for central station installations within the service territory. Complete all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits on time and to the levels outlined in the service manual. Assist sales and marketing team with tender opportunities as technical support and to promote service contracts. Maintain tools and test equipment properly, ensuring they are calibrated. Maintain spare parts inventory, company vehicle, and other company equipment and supplies. Occasional training of clinical staff on designated equipment. Track and maintain both parts and loaner inventories allocated to you. Other tasks or responsibilities designated by the National Service Manager, Italy. What are we looking for in you? Minimum 5 years' experience in servicing medical devices including Ultrasound and preferably Monitoring or Ventilation. Based 'on patch' in the Lazio region. Experience of working in Italy with no company sponsorship required. Experience of providing training on medical devices capital equipment. Fluent in Italian, with English as a business language. Highly customer focused with a hunger to achieve more; this role has significant development potential for the right candidate! Technically proficient in the troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of all medical products. Good networking and IT skills. Strong listening skills to address customer requests. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships. Proven negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
