Your Role To facilitate growth our company's service program through strong commitment to the delivery of high
quality customer service to all Vacuum Technique Service customers. Plus, ensure that the customer's
expectations are met every time. To provide timely service support for technical problems, monitoring,
testing, and demonstrations that result in minimizing downtime, reducing costs, or promoting our Product
capabilities in the case of a test or demo. To be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing
parts as needed to maintain the equipment.
Main responsibilities Ensure to provide quality field service at the customer site and represent vacuum brands. This can include all service activities from planned maintenance to troubleshooting and commissioning. Follow the guidelines and Standard Operation Procedures to achieve preventive maintenance. Proactively build customer relationships and spot business opportunities whilst being on site. Proactively generate leads for the Sales team. Share lessons learned with colleagues to enhance exchange of experiences and foster a strong network. Communicate service and other relevant activities to the Customer and VTS supervisor through daily service reports or relevant forms, e-mail and telephone communications. Collaborate with the internal team to find optimal solutions in case of breakdowns, expanding customer activities or other customer specific situations. Ensure the best advice possible for the customer. Ensure a neat working environment, clean tools and proper administration. Work according to the company's safety guidelines and follow any customer specific safety guidelines on-site. Conduct Last Minute Risk Assessments and know the decontamination info from the records. Always use necessary and prescribed Personal Protective Equipment. Provide repair service in the workshop according to the Edwards standard as needed. Skills, knowledge and experience Educational background: Diploma in mechanical or maintenance is required; Electrical engineering qualification is a plus. Some years of working experience in repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment, preferably industrial vacuum pumps. Knowledge Areas: Technical expertise, combining mechanical and electrical components. Aspiration to keep up to date with latest technical developments. Experience in a service position in an industrial and highly technical environment. Critical Skills: Commitment to customers. Work with the Atlas Copco "The Way". Confidence to be an important face to the customer and strong service mindedness. Integrity and efficiency. Ability to learn and develop skills. Effective and clear communication. Approachability. Other requirements:
