This position reports to Global Operations Manager Your role and responsibilities The LVS External Workbench Partner Program is defined as strategic initiative driving business and profitability growth by improving/developing manufacturing capacity and flexibility.
LVS External Workbench Partner Program Lead develops and implements ABB's partnership strategy to enhance the opportunities for the organization in accessing complementary technologies and new market segments.
Works with senior stakeholders across the business to align on the priorities and extract benefits from the participations.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Define and own the development of the partnership program, including roll out and certification, in alignment with the LVS strategy and priorities • Lead research and identification of potential partners, including panel builders and installation companies, with expertise in electrical and mechanical capabilities for switchgear manufacturing • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy, ensuring compliance with HSE, ethical, and environmental standards, as well as local and regional regulations • Evaluate existing and potential new partners based on core capabilities, flexibility in capacity, on-time delivery performance, cost competitiveness, and capacity to deliver high-quality output • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for partners, focusing on on-time delivery, quality, and cost efficiency • Prepare all elements of the collaboration model, including legal validation, certification of partners, and creating a streamlined commercial collaboration process • Assess potential growth opportunities based on customer needs, white spots, and the competitive/market environment • Ensure alignment of the partnership strategy with financial and strategic goals of the group and manage the partnerships portfolio over a defined period • Own the development of deliverables and communication with key stakeholders • Ensures that the project team understands ABB's core values, ethics, and group safety and integrity standards and acts accordingly in all activities.
• Ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes related to project execution.
• Ensures adherence to all internal and statutory regulations and policies pertaining to the project team.
• Ensures the health and safety standards.
Qualifications for the role Proven experience in project management, particularly in establishing strategic partnerships within the switch gear manufacturing industry Strong understanding of global manufacturing processes and operations Profound technical knowledge of LV switchgear systems and their application by customer across all market segments.
Thorough understanding of the IEC and CCC standards.
Assertiveness and ability to work in a team and cross-divisional as well as in a multi-layered matrix organization.
Able to act on own initiative, having strong analytical skills, structured approach and result orientation.
Ability to travel internationally as needed General Finance University degree in field of Engineering / Manufacturing.
Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
