Skills, knowledge, experience required: Education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields;At least 3-5 years of practical experience in similar roles, with a proven ability to manage configurations, inventories, and security of networks and systems.Strong analytical skills to identify issues, optimize configurations, and improve security;Excellent communication skills to produce clear reports and collaborate with various teams within the organization;Proven Server Administration skills;Proven Second-Level Helpdesk Capabilities;In-depth knowledge of configuration management practices, including tools and methodologies for controlling software and hardware inventory;Advanced skills in managing and maintaining network devices and systems. Understanding of VLANs, subnets, and network topologies;Familiarity with tools like ManageEngine Service Desk or other IT management software for monitoring and inventorying software and hardware;Knowledge of best IT security practices and industry standards, including optimizing security settings;Ability to collect, organize, and present technical data through structured and easily comprehensible reports;Skills in cataloguing devices and systems and producing detailed technical documentation.Desirable: Ability to efficiently and proactively solve complex problems;Precision and accuracy in managing technical data and configurations;Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and provide support and training to other team members;Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.Duties/role: Inventorying software for workstations/users and servers;Surveying existing network devices and systems, cataloging them, and producing a document with the results to be integrated into the configuration management overall document;Rationalizing existing lists (accounts, software, etc.) with organized cataloging and dividing them by user profiles;Inventorying which includes information on physical and logical location (VLAN membership, subnet, etc.);Optimizing ManageEngine Service Desk: For software and hardware inventory, including the ability to create custom reporting tools;Optimizing Security settings on on-prem and on-cloud services;Checking and updating group policies;Cleaning up expired Users.
