Engineering Manager - Leads & Customer Management We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead one of our teams in our Leads & Customer Management domain.
The ideal candidate should possess good technical expertise in software development, enthusiasm for building an environment that enables the development of high-performing teams and demonstrates strong leadership.
In the Leads & Customer Management domain, our main focus is our customers.
We are supporting the journey of our 2 million monthly active visitors on our platforms across Spain, UK and Italy.
This includes our commercial websites, as well as the personal areas on web and mobile.
As an Engineering Manager, you would lead one of the teams owning a part of this journey.
You will be responsible for: Creating and maintaining a strong partnership with the Product team and other stakeholders to deliver value for your customers.
Making sure that the technical solutions chosen together with the team meet business demands and are aligned with the technical vision of the company as a whole Ensuring the system complies with the maintainability, reliability, scalability and security requirements set by the company Defining and monitoring the most appropriate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) metrics Supporting the development team so that the most important initiatives are delivered on time, with a high quality level Ensuring a team composition suitable for achieving set goals Promoting the training, growth and engagement of every tech member of the team Creating and maintaining a safe and exciting work environment Requirements: Ability to lead with humility and empathy, respecting and learning from the perspectives of others Strong English communication skills and demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a wide variety of audiences Experience about people development (mentorship, coaching) Be comfortable having architecture discussions with Engineers and feature/strategy discussions with Product Managers Ability to define properly the team capacity needs in order to fulfil planned team initiatives Ability to track initiatives progression, spot bottlenecks and suggest solutions to remove impediments Extensive experience with agile development methodologies In addition to the basic requirements, these could be helpful: Experience with cross-functional teams Experience with customer facing platforms Experience in leading a frontend team #J-18808-Ljbffr
