Position SummaryE-Commerce channel is a new growing engine for Samsung.
This position will take Samsung E-Commerce business to the next level, bringing your strategic hands-on experience within eCommerce and consumer behaviour in demand inventory management.
The main focus of this role is to maximize customer experience, sales, instock rate and inventory turns through demand planning inventory/replenishment in a sustainable and profitable way.Role And Responsibilities(Demand Planning)Analyse the market / trend / promotion effect / consumers' behaviour, and forecast Samsung products demand on E-Commerce channels, incl.
Samsung.com and dropship channels.Prepare and lead weekly SOP (sales operations planning) meeting with relevant teams: commercial, platform, logistics operation.Bridge commercial operations (logistics) with daily communication and sharing the forecast in order to ensure proper resource capacity planning.Identify and pursue process improvement opportunities, with a special focus on forecasting and supply planning processes, working with commercial teams, divisions' SCM teams, technical teams (platform, ERP) operations.Daily monitoring of e-store sales performance, to verify the demand accuracy.Support management in decision-making with data analyses.Create weekly/monthly report on E-Commerce performance on Forecast, Sales, Inventory, Target.
(Supply / Inventory Planning)Achieve and maintain high instock rates on replenishment programs to ensure demand to be fulfilled in time full.Set the replenishment strategy that optimizes for availability and cost, and coordinate replenishment with division's SCM team and factories.Set the target inventory level, balancing inventory's trade-off, both not to lose sales opportunity and not to have excessive inventory.Analyse inventory performance and review the inventory target / replenishment rule.Prevent and detect the stock-out / shortage, and find solutions.
Guide Commercial / Platform / customer centre on future product availability.Prevent aging stocks, and find solution with commercial team and divisions SCM team.Interact with operations teams and drive efficiencies through team collaboration.Skills And Qualifications(Education)Master / Bachelor in Business (MBA), Engineering or a Supply Chain / Operation discipline preferred.
(Qualification)Strong passion in demand planning, supply planning, SOP, in-stock management (retail or e-commerce) and analytics.Working well in matrix organization, working with cross-functional teams collaboratively.
(Skills)Profound analytical skills and ability to work with details; Microsoft Excel is essential.Strong eye for detail and experience with databases and reporting.Flexible, action and results oriented, self-starter, comfortable with computer databases and tools.Business acumen.Problem solving skills.Strong communication Stakeholder management skills.Ability to effectively prioritize various tasks in a fast-paced environment.Language: Fluent English Italian.
(Others)Travel required: less than 5%.Familiarity with statistics or other analytical techniques (Artificial intelligence, Machine Learning) would be plus.
