Position SummaryWe are looking for a Demand Planner Intern to join our team based in Pomezia (Roma). In this role he/she will support the team to define the production plan and generate work orders, as well as issue purchase orders.
He/she will provide support to coordinate and monitor the materials flow (inbound/outbound) to make sure sales orders are properly and timely fulfilled, working closely with Customer Service, Logistics & Warehouse and Procurement to ensure an adequate products supply to the customers.
He/she will provide support to monitor key metrics and run demand/forecast analysis.
DutiesAnalyse monthly statistical forecast and forecast error to make changes/recommendations for inclusion into the demand plan as part of the EMEA S&OP process.Generate lots and issue work orders to freeze the production plan.Share results and analysis with many individuals and groups including sales, marketing, finance and operations.Work closely with other STERIS entities to issue internal requisitions according to monthly forecast and ensure on time delivery.Develop monthly build plans for assigned manufacturing facilities as well as monthly requirements for purchased finished goods.Support and perform KPI analysis and reports.EducationDegree: Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Engineering
