WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Database Software Developer - Space Missions Join our client's team in Rome as a Database Software Developer.
With over 30 years of experience, our client is a trusted partner of European governments and international organizations, specializing in IT and space services, providing operational and engineering support for Earth observation missions, data processing, and applied research.
YOUR TASKS Overseeing the processes of harvesting, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and data aggregation within the data warehouse system.
Conducting data mining and analysis to identify and address functional anomalies in the system.
Providing support for converting satellite data to the EO-SIP format by developing new converters.
Updating existing converters to ensure compatibility and functionality with current requirements.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE To be successful in this role, you will need: Secondary school diploma (or higher) Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience Design and development of interfaces between multi-systems Experience with PL/PostgreSQL Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming Experience with SQL queries and SQL programming Data processing and transformation Good written and oral command of English (B2) Are an asset: Linux O.S.
and native shell scripting Troubleshoot and upgrade of existing software XML/XSD EO data products Business Intelligence procedures, data presentation tools and technics (e.g.
