We're looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our IT Department in La Spezia (SP).

Role Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of new local systems or modifications to existing ones, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and security standards. Support the translation of security needs into technical requirements and help implement effective security mechanisms. Install, configure, and maintain software to meet security and operational requirements. Assist in monitoring systems for unusual activity or signs of intrusion, and participate in incident investigations, providing recommendations for future prevention. Collaborate with the Software Development and Risk Management teams to ensure robust, secure solutions and to identify risks, controls, and mitigation strategies. Work closely with System Administrators to maintain an efficient, secure IT infrastructure. Support penetration testing activities, generate reports, and assist in audits. Stay informed about emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, using automated analysis tools (e.g. Qualys), and contribute to security awareness initiatives within the company. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Systems Engineering, or relevant work experience. 3+ years of experience with computer networks and security systems, including hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and firewall technologies. Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, regulations, and methodologies (e.g., OWASP). Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, shell scripting). Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks. Basic understanding of computer forensics and security incident investigation. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams. Good time management and organizational abilities. Fluency in both Italian and English, for written communication and meetings. Nice To Have:
Ability to promote practical, cost-effective security solutions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical audiences. Familiarity with cloud environments, especially Azure. Basic knowledge of programming languages/tools such as C#, Java, or Python.
