Terna is seeking candidates for the role of ICS Solutions Specialist at its Cagliari office.
The successful ICS Solutions Specialist will be responsible for the following activities: Guiding the planning, development and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions.
Supervising and coordinating the work of the BI team, guaranteeing compliance with technical standards and best practices.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of the company and translate them into technical requirements.
Ensuring the integrity, quality and consistency of data through the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process.
Planning and developing advanced reports, interactive dashboards and data models to support company decisions.
Monitoring the performances of the BI solutions and implementing continuous improvements.
Providing mentorship and ongoing training to members of the BI team.
Staying up to date on the latest technologies and trends in the field of Business Intelligence and proposing innovative solutions.
Key requirements: At least 4 years of proven experience in the field of Business Intelligence, with a solid technical background.
A thorough knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, QlikView and others.
Experience with relational databases and data query languages like SQL.
Ability to plan and optimise ETL processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at various levels.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is considered a plus.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related disciplines is preferable but not essential.
An understanding of the processes of the electricity sector and of the life cycle of renewable power plants is also considered an advantage.
