Responsibilities: Customer Service Excellence: Provide exemplary service to guests throughout their journey, anticipating and meeting their needs with kindness and efficiency.
Ensure the carriage is fully stocked and prepared prior to the departure of the train from the Depot, including linen, amenities, cleaning items etc, paying particular attention to any special requests.
Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with luggage, and settle them into their assigned cabins.
Offer personalised service throughout the journey focusing on guest comfort, serve cabin refreshments and act as a source of information.
Cabin Housekeeping: Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organisation within guest cabins, ensuring they are always presented to the highest standards.
Monitor and replenish amenities, linens, and supplies to ensure guests enjoy a comfortable and luxurious environment during their stay.
Perform the nightly turndown service, including making the bed where required.
Perform morning cleaning, including removing used sheets and towels and replacing according to the SOP Conduct routine inspections of cabins to promptly identify and address any maintenance issues.
Food and Beverage Service: Be prepared to serve any drinks or snacks as and when required, according to the Cabin Menu Be prepared to serve breakfast in the cabin, should the guest choose this option instead of eating in the Dining Car In some suite cabins there is also the possibility of guests also eating lunch or dinner upon request.
This service will be delivered by teamwork between the Conductor and the Waiters, under the guidance of the Maitre D'Hotel Safety and Emergency Preparedness: Demonstrate thorough knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures, always prioritising the well-being and safety of guests.
Remain vigilant and proactive in identifying potential safety risks or concerns, promptly reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications: High School Diploma in Hospitality or related field (preferred).
Previous experience in the luxury hospitality sector or a related field, with demonstrated expertise.
Flexibility to work on shift hours and travel as required.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.
