The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!
PLEASE NOTE: as part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the country of your citizenship. Your mission, roles and responsibilities Your missions:
Structure the panel: participate in the definition and the implementation of the purchasing panel policy for assigned commodities, manage supplier selection according to Group criteria.
Panel management: ensure a regular follow-up of the supplier performance (Sustainability, Cost, Quality, Delivery, Development performance, Risk assessment & management) during all the program life.
Define and implement the purchasing panel strategy for assigned commodities in programs and series, manage supplier selection according to commodity strategy.
Ensure the overall productivity of the panel and Build / Achieve budget for assigned scope.
Manage global suppliers' productivity and implement tools to achieve global budget.
Negotiate and implement general agreements with suppliers.
Follow price management for his / her scope with Purchasing Support Team. Accountable of price update.
Ensure the reporting of his or her activities towards the Purchasing organization.
Your profile and competencies to succeed What if it were you?
Master's degree in engineering or business preferred
Results orientation with strong written and oral communication skills
Good understanding of business practices, market dynamics and trends
International mindset, overseas experience a plus
Work in English with international team, basic Italian skills appreciated
Be resilient, autonomous and ready to provide "fresh eyes" on current processes
