In this role you be responsible to lead the Operations at Cluster level, with full accountability of running the day-to-day operation and to overachieve customer expectations through lean, faultless operational execution (Care, Customer, Cost, Cash), in an extended value chain and at the lowest total cost.
The Cluster Manager provides strategic direction and leads the implementation of our Assets Light, Business Model within all allocated manufacturing units.
Successfully integrates allocated manufacturing units from recent acquisitions while delivering committed synergy savings.
Develops plans and executes plans through a collaborative an engaging leadership style to meet budget goals.
Is accountable for assuring both operational and financial performance.
Continues to drive improvement on manufacturing technologies and develops a high-performance work environment.
Builds team competencies to raise overall competitiveness.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Safety and Integrity: Responsible to implement and sponsor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and all other business compliance standards and regulations across all QO functions of the Cluster.
Accountable to ensure a safe work environment and continuous improvement in HSE processes and integrity performance.
- Strategy and Performance Management: Based on the overall Division and Operations & Quality functional strategy, responsible to derive and continuously improve a customer-focused Cluster Operations strategy.
Accountable for its relentless execution.
Ensures achievement of established targets through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
Delivers operational/project targets to ensure customer satisfaction and improve net promoter score (NPS).
- Manufacturing: Leads and manages the manufacturing units in respective Cluster and implements local plans to achieve targets.
Improves productivity, profitability, manufacturing technology and competence in line with Hub / Division / GPG strategy.
- Supply Chain Management: Executes the sourcing strategy in line with Division strategy and processes.
Manages all local SCM requirements to meet targets in partnership with Division Procurement & Logistics team.
- Management of Operations: Owns and is accountable to deliver Cluster-level RELEX KPIs in line with ABB expectations.
Accountable to deliver targets for Operations: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity.
Responsible for on-time/on-margin product delivery and to deliver project EBIT and cash.
Drive Digital Transformation in the manufacturing unit and implement Sustainability and MTZ program.
- Quality: Executes Hub/Division operational excellence strategy and quality standards.
Drives executional excellence across all products and processes through target setting, monitoring and benchmarking for innovative processes.
Maintains compliance with quality standards and develops systems for capturing, monitoring and improving day to day operations.
Reduces cost of poor quality, drives, delivery performance and cost optimization.
Drive Quality Wins Program in the cluster.
- Standards, Governance and Risk Management: Accountable to ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, policies and procedures related to Operations execution.
In alignment with the respective Group, Business Area and Divisional policies, responsible to introduce hub-wide standards and guidelines, standardized processes, and KPIs.
Accountable for operational risk management, validates and improves reliability and effectiveness of business operations.
- People Leadership & Development: Accountable that all manufacturing units are properly organized, staffed and directed.
Accountable to build an effective, capable and high-performing organization.
Responsible to develop talent, review organizational effectiveness, performing competence assessments and continuous skill upgrades across the Cluster.
- Strategic Projects: Leads the implementation for our Assets Light strategy, Business Model within the assigned manufacturing units.
Defines future state, develops prioritized plans and is responsible for the execution.
Integration of newly acquired business, delivering synergy savings and creating a One ABB culture.
**Your background**:
- University degree in engineering and MBA
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in manufacturing and in general management roles
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience
