The company just got acquired by a PE-firm and is looking to build a strong an active M&A roll-up. We are looking for a COO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the organization. Your primary goal will be to increase our organization's productivity, efficiency, and profitability. You will advise the CEO on key operational insights as well as provide coaching to employees. Key Responsibilities: -Ownership of delivery of strategic and transformational change projects as agreed with the CEO and Executive team, including defining target OKRs. -Overseeing daily operations and ensuring operational excellence across all functions. -Implementation of agreed project management methodologies and associated reporting. -Creation of processes, policies and procedures required to deliver effective change. -Production of MI and ownership of communicating this data within the business in order to drive decision making and measure project success. -Budget management and resource allocation for agreed projects, including the forwards forecasting of resource requirements. -Driving proactive communications cross-functionally, to prevent teams and project workstreams operating in silos. -Proactive recommendation and implementation of business improvements. -Ensuring alignment and synergy between different departments to achieve company objectives. -Company procedures, policies and processes setting and ownership: implement and monitor periodically. -Monitor all the processes regarding ISO certification and develop/implement other useful certifications. -Ownership of all processes, procedures and all the operations of the wider GBSAPRI group and affiliates. Qualifications: -Demonstrable financial and business acumen together with the ability to devise, develop and maintain business models that work. -Experience in Financial Services PE-backed company roll-up, and buy and build. -Experience in acquisitions and mergers, driving successful integrations. -Strong background in strategic planning, process improvement, and team management. -Effective leadership skills, capable of inspiring confidence and action in teams and individuals at all levels, communicating strategic priorities in a way that makes them actionable by others. -The drive to set and deliver against challenging plans, galvanising the contribution of others in order to get things done. -Experience in ESG: monitoring and implementation of all related processes and relevant procedures -Skilled strategic and analytical thinker. -Proven self-starter, able to create momentum and to sustain it in a self- managed way. -Strong communicator, verbally and in writing, comfortable operating in ambiguous circumstances to create clarity, consensus and action. -Exceptional relationship development skills, demonstrating emotional intelligence and self-awareness to get the best out of themselves and others.
