About the job
As our CISO, you have responsibility for leading the information security strategy and implementation within Allego. These will be your responsibilities:
You develop, own, and manage Allego's information- and cyber security risk strategy, policies, and governance framework. You align security initiatives with business goals and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g. NIS2, GDPR, and ISO27001). You ensure Allego has adequate business continuity management, business recovery and crisis management capabilities by collaborating closely with our Business Continuity Manager. You safeguard critical or sensitive information, processes and infrastructure through conducting regular security risk assessments on both the IT and OT environment. You oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization's security functions, in close cooperation with the (software) Security architect and SOC. You develop and maintain a culture of information security awareness and behavior. You ensure that the framework supports the security of personal data. You manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external business partners, including third party vendors, such as charger manufacturers. You have a direct reporting line to the Board of Directors. This is you (or at least we hope)
You have experience operating as a Chief Information Security Officer. You have outstanding communication skills and have experience with internal and external stakeholder management. Also:
You focus on continuous improvement. You have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cyber security. You have a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably with additional relevant certificates in information security (e.g. CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Implementer) or privacy (e.g. CIPP/E). You have knowledge of Information Security Risk Management best practices (e.g. ISO27005 and/or COSO framework). You are familiar with NIS2, GDPR, and ISO27001 regulations and standards.
