Role Description This role will be responsible for managing a few key EMEIA chat technical projects. Additionally, responsibilities include end-to-end quality and reliability of Customers Chat experience with a particular focus on EMEIA customers' languages and locales.
Key Skills Strong written and oral communication Stakeholder management Detail-oriented and data-driven Ability to influence and negotiate 5 years of relevant experience in engineering program/project management Experience working with a global team spanning multiple timezones Primary Responsibilities Project Oriented Responsibilities: Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams ensuring effective collaboration and resource allocation. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules. Report on these items to key internal and external partners. Chat Experience Responsibilities: Build and maintain a deep understanding of the end-to-end chat solutions. Establish and maintain relationships with key cross-functional partners, customer teams, and business owners and decision makers. Act as a primary partner to EMEIA business teams. Build an understanding of their priorities and challenges as input to your quality and reliability strategy. Define the process for evaluating and maintaining customer experience across established and emerging locales and channels. Execute that strategy and refine it over time based on lessons learned. Identify and fully understand impactful experiences which then be communicated to the correct business owners. Influence where appropriate to drive necessary improvements. Stay aware of projects and initiatives impacting the end-to-end chat experience in order to be added as a project stakeholder. Work with responsible teams to protect and enhance the experience. This also includes advocating for the EMEIA business. In case of a significant production incident during EMEIA hours, partner with existing production support and operational teams to keep key stakeholders updated on issue resolution. Ensure root cause is identified and keep awareness of any communication regarding root cause and follow up. Work with your partners to identify learnings or opportunities for improvement and influence for change as part of your quality and reliability strategy.
