About Reach for ChangeReach for Change is a global non-profit organization headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, operational in 11 countries worldwide, including three in Africa. Registered in Ethiopia as a foreign organization in 2015, Reach for Change aims to positively impact the lives of young women and children in Ethiopia and build the capacity of local social entrepreneurs.
Currently, Reach for Change (RFC) envisions a green, sustainable economy in Ethiopia where everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a decent quality of life and reach their full potential. RFC is implementing a three-year project called "Building Waste Management and Circular Enterprises in Ethiopia," contributing to national efforts and the RFC Ethiopia country strategy to create decent employment for youth and women while addressing environmental challenges through eco-friendly solutions.
Consultancy OverviewThe consultant will capture baseline information reflecting the current practices of 10 social enterprises (participants in the Green Business Incubator program) regarding environmental and social impact and overall sustainability issues. This consultancy will last for 30 days from the date the agreement is signed between Reach for Change Ethiopia and the consulting firm.
Required Experience and QualificationsProven technical expertise and experience in environmental and social impact assessment or sustainability assessment in general.Experience and familiarity with business development support, specifically in green business development and waste management.Proven experience in conducting similar assessments.Experience coordinating diverse teams and communicating with individuals/groups at all levels.Knowledge and experience in using participatory methodologies.Experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods and analysis.Strong analytical, presentation, and writing skills in English.Mode of ApplicationConsultants interested in carrying out this baseline assessment should email ****** to obtain the detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) and information on how to apply for this consultancy service.
