In a modern matrix organisation, the VP BU orchestrates and supports all activities around Sales, Product Management, Operations, Purchasing, R&D and the financial for the business.
It is crucial for being successful to secure smooth and effective operations in close cooperation with the global functional leaders.Drive business growth of the assigned BU in a highly dynamic market, managing the full global P&L responsibility for the related businessDevelop and implement market driven cross functional strategies;Continue performance and productivity improvement for the BU, also thanks to frequent analysis of accounting and financial data for the BU;Generate reports and presentations to customers, Partners, Board and the Group Management;Support business integration with the Group, making the local business ready to support other business units;Develop growth opportunities together with sales, business development and product management in dynamic market fields, specifically for renewable energy and environmental applications;Foster the collaboration between the global functional organisation and all BU locations;Identify and support M&A transactions as well as the integration of M&A targets;The Successful ApplicantDegree in business management or master in business administration, respectively business Engineering;Experience in industrial or environmental technology markets with some technical understanding, gained as general manager or BU Director with full P/L responsibility;High customer and market orientation;Experience based knowledge of different business functions (e.g.
