Business Development Manager (Medical Device Imaging/Optics) Location: near Encinitas, CA Salary: $100,000 - $130,000+ (DOE) + Year-End Sales Bonus (Y1 = 5%-15%)  + Benefits Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance (w/ Employer Contribution), 401k, Holidays, PTO Job Type: Full-Time | On-site (no remote) Typical Hours: Monday-Friday Travel: 25% primarily domestic, with some international travel Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not available Relocation assistance negotiable Business Development Manager (Medical Device Imaging/Optics) Description Our client, in imaging solutions manufacturing, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team near Encinitas, CA. You will focus on growing the medical device market by identifying and closing significant business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves close collaboration with sales management and optical experts, developing and executing business plans, and penetrating new markets to achieve company targets. Qualified candidates will have a technical background in optics or related medical device imaging solutions (scanners, endoscopes, etc.), with a proven track record in B2B sales to manufacturers or OEMs (selling to doctors, physicians, and/or hospitals is not applicable) and will possess the ability to identify, negotiate, and close new business. Business Development Manager (Medical Device Imaging/Optics) Responsibilities •    Collaborate with sales and optical engineers to identify business opportunities
•    Develop and execute strategic business plans for revenue growth
•    Penetrate new markets to achieve company targets
•    Provide market feedback to leadership for product development
•    Participate in trade shows to network and generate sales leads
•    Act as the interface between customers and manufacturing overseas operations
Business Development Manager (Medical Device Imaging/Optics) Qualifications •    Bachelor's degree required
•    2+ years of B2B (to manufacturers/OEMs) sales experience required
•    Technical background in optics or medical device imaging solutions required
•    Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite required
•    Ability/willingness to travel 25% (domestic and internationally)
•    Possess a valid passport or the ability to obtain one upon hire
