Perform network analysis and design solutions to response to client requirements.
As a Business Development Manager, you will work for business acquisition as well as work closely with sales teams and Country head to support them on technical aspects, and to take part in offer presentations.Job requirementsDefining the pipeline of potential CustomersConduct market research, competitor analysis, and capability reportingIdentifies the feasibility of pursuing new business opportunities with specific potential clientsSupport "Head Quarter" "Regional Head Quarter" initiative project and implement business expansion strategy setup for ItalyBuild and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needsProvides technical design support for logistics solutions, including data gathering and analysis, process design, lay-out design, costing of the solution, and sensitivity analysisUses optimization modelling and process (re-)design to derive optimum logistics solution, resource level and costsAssists in creating solution documents and comprehensive presentations, and supports presenting them to the (potential) customerDevelops a strong understanding of financial modelsCooperate with other functions and departments units to formulate and test validity of solutionsEnsures the smooth handover to Operations at the start of the project implementation phase to its stabilityProfileWe are looking for an employee with:Education Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or similar.Experience: Relevant working experience in logistics and supply chain, consulting, and/or manufacturing, with mandatory previous roles as Operations Solutions Designer.Specialist Knowledge Skills:Warehousing, transport, supply chain design, industrial engineering, manufacturingStrong working knowledge of MS office, specifically Excel and PowerPointSuccessful negotiation skills, with a commercial mindset and a target oriented approach to any issue.Interpersonal Communication Skills:Able to read, write and speak English fluentlyAble to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team, which reflects in strong engagement/presentation skills'Can-do' mentality and positive attitude and cultural awareness and open minded attitude towards any cultural differenceAn entrepreneur who can work with high degree of autonomy, but also a good team player.Solid and Proven network of key contacts for potential customer in the Italian market (in all industries) is a strong plus.BenefitsYou will receive:a permanent contracta competitive compensation package with a bonus structurean extended benefit package, including both a wellness programme and a professional and extra professional insurance agreement, for you and your familyCome join us!If this role matches your profile, please send your CV and motivation letter via the apply button.
