Aim of the PositionThe Business Development & Sales Manager is responsible for gathering data and information about the specific industry and reviewing competitor data to develop potential business ideas. He/She monitors specific markets supported by the regional hubs to continuously align company strategy and project funnels. This role includes participating in meetings with marketing and sales teams to review sales goals and present ideas for new business ventures, joining regular meetings with headquarters for global coordination on Sales and BD activities, and meeting with company executives to discuss successful leads and obtain approval for new projects.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe resource will be responsible for the following activities:
Identify and develop possible opportunities in the market for hydrogen and chlor-alkali business;Develop and maintain client relationships;Coordinate with Proposal and Technical departments to develop proposals that meet client requests and expectations;Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders;Gather useful information from customer and competitor data;Make and deliver presentations to prospects and internal executives.Skills, Qualifications, and AbilitiesThe ideal candidate should satisfy the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business management, industrial technology, or a related discipline;Experience in Sales and Customer Relationship Management (industrial plants);Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Familiarity with project management and execution processes;Familiarity with the chemical plant and/or energy industry;Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions;Ability and willingness to deal with different cultures and travel for meetings with prospects and existing clients.What We OfferAt thyssenkrupp nucera Italy, we offer:
