**Business Analyst - focus WMS**:
ROLE AND KEY RESPONSABILITY
**Project Planning and Scoping**:
Conduct a comprehensive needs assessment and gap analysis to define project team, project scope, objectives, success criteria and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and risk assessment by setting realistic deadlines, identifying potential roadblocks, and planning for contingencies.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
**Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination**:
Act as the primary point of contact between IT, operations, and executive leadership for the WMS implementation project and for any project-related escalations.
Manage expectations of all stakeholders through regular communication on project status, risks, and issues.
Collaborate closely with software providers and/or MSC development teams to ensure alignment on project goals, scope, and technical and functional specifications.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and regional teams to gather & prioritize requirements and facilitate smooth deployment across multiple global sites.
Manage vendor relationships and review contracts to ensure favourable terms
Facilitate communication between different departments to ensure alignment on project goals.
**Configuration and Customization**:
Oversee the development and/or configuration and customization of the WMS to meet specific business requirements and operational processes.
Ensure seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure and other enterprise systems.
**Data Migration and Integration**:
Develop and execute data migration strategies to transfer existing data to the new WMS.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy during the migration process while maintaining business continuity.
**Testing and Quality Assurance**:
Coordinate the development and implementation of comprehensive testing plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Monitor and facilitate the identification and resolution of any issues or bugs before full-scale deployment.
**Training and Change Management**:
Coordinate the development of training materials and conduction of training sessions for end-users to ensure effective system adoption.
Implement change management and communication strategies to facilitate a smooth transition to the new system and address potential resistance to change.
Evaluate training outcomes and revise programs as needed.
**Deployment and Go-Live**:
Coordinate go-live activities, including cutover planning and execution.
Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting to address any issues that arise
**Quality Assurance and Risk Management**:
Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of the WMS implementation.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendation report to identify successful and unsuccessful project element
**QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE**:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
