Automation System Technician - Mechatronics / Electronics

For our Solar Unit, in the largest manufacturing site in the Solar industry in Europe (based in Catania), we are looking for an Automation Systems Technician specialized in Mechatronics (or similar) with previous experience on cutting-edge and highly technological production lines.
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the automation system of the existing plant.ResponsibilitiesLiaising with suppliers to optimize production processesCompilation of maintenance reportsAcquiring system knowledge to understand hidden anomalies, software, and programmingFirst-level troubleshooting on the automation system (PLC, fieldbus, HMI, SCADA)RequirementsDegree or five-year technical diploma with post-diploma specialization in Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics or related fieldsKnowledge of Siemens PLC (TIA Portal)KuKa robotic programming languageUnderstanding and reading of electrical schematicsBasic diagnostics using a testerBasic knowledge of IT systems (operating systems, Ethernet network, client/server architecture)English proficiencyKnowledge of additional programming languages is a plus (e.g., Aveva System Platform, SQL, EBPro) #J-18808-Ljbffr
