The Office of Audit Services is comprised of several units, including the External Audit Facilitation Team (EAFT).
EAFT manages the external audit process for audits of the Department of Social Services: Human Resources Administration, Department of Homeless Services, and the Department of Social Services programs and operations.
EAFT is recruiting for (1) one Administrative Staff Analyst NM to function as an Assistant Director of the External Audits Facilitation Team, who will: Oversee the timely and quality execution of coordinator tasks, conducting team strategy meetings and assigning lead coordinators.
Monitor audit coordinators engaged in all phases of the external audit process, ensuring all documentation, meeting dates, and requests are captured and updated daily.
Facilitate the development of corrective actions to resolve weaknesses noted by external audit agencies.
Perform comprehensive statistical and narrative analyses on completed audits for HRA and DHS.
Attend meetings on behalf of the Director with oversight entities and report meeting actions to the Director.
Hours/Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM Work Location: 4 WTC, New York, NY Qualifications: A master's degree from an accredited college in a relevant field and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in specified areas, including 18 months in a managerial or supervisory capacity; or a baccalaureate degree and four years of professional experience in the areas described, including the 18 months of managerial experience.
