Ampaspace Quality Assurance Manager Deputy The Aerospace Deputy Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in ensuring compliance of EASA Part 21/G Approved Production Organization with legal, regulatory, and normative obligations related to quality, including but not limited to ISO9001 and EN9100 standards as well as EASA Part 21 Subpart G regulation. As such, the Deputy Quality Assurance Manager reports to the Quality Assurance Manager according to the approved Production Organization Exposition (POE) for the management of EASA Part 21 Subpart G Approved Production Organisation independent monitoring.
Main Activities:
Operational management of the Ampaspace Quality Policy; Drafting and Maintaining the Site Quality Matrix (SQM); Production Organization Exposition (POE) aligned with the applicable current regulation (EASA Part 21/G), aerospace standard (EN9100), PPG Aerospace EMEA procedures, and Customer requirements, coordinating the drafting, alignment, and adequacy of the supporting Ampaspace Procedures and Documentation; Monitoring the internal audit program to verify compliance, adequacy, and effectiveness of the QMS with the applicable requirements, guaranteeing feedback to the Accountable Manager (through specific reporting and meetings) and to the responsible persons; Verifying that the agreed corrective actions are implemented within the established times and methods; Promoting improvement actions, particularly preventive actions; Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, plant Accountable Manager, and responsible persons on quality performance trends and any needs for their improvement; Customer and Authority (ENAC) quality focal point for all matters relating to airworthiness, including surveillance audits; Managing every action towards ENAC, particularly the approval of significant changes, demonstrating that the Production Organization will continue to comply with the EASA Part-21 Section A Subpart G requirements; Guaranteeing reporting to the Holder of the Type-Certificate or Design Approval of all occurrences related to parts manufactured and released from the Production Organization with deviations from applicable Design Data, investigating with the Holder of the Type-Certificate or Design Approval to identify those deviations that could lead to unsafe conditions; Ensuring reporting to ENAC of all occurrences related to parts manufactured and released from the Production Organization with deviations from applicable Design Data that could lead to a potential unsafe condition as identified with the Holder of the Type-Certificate or Design Approval; Performing any additional verification where applicable (e.g., occurrence investigations); Representing the Customer's airworthiness/quality needs and expectations to internal functions; Evaluating the qualification of the Suppliers, which are monitored and managed by the Supply Quality Engineering function; Approving initial and continuation training programs of the personnel and corresponding qualification. Requirements:
Previous work experience (minimum 3 years) as a Quality Auditor in the EASA Airworthiness environment, preferably for EASA Part-21 Subpart G approved Production Organization; Certification as Quality Auditor ISO 19011; deep understanding and proven training on EASA Part-21 Subpart G (POA) and Subpart J (DOA); Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS); Understanding of aeronautical technical documentation (Design Data and Manufacturing Data); Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities; Team spirit; Good analytical skills; Preferably graduation in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
