The Amazon Senior Forecasting Planner plays a key role in the demand planning process by acting as a liaison between the commercial and operational sides of the business.
It is his or her responsibility to translate the sales plan into forecasts that will serve as the basis for production and procurement planning, thereby contributing to the creation of continuous and responsive supply flows in an ever-changing environment.Main Responsibilities:Management and maintenance of European (EU9) sell-in forecasting (12 months rolling with monthly bucket) while keeping a continuous focus on sales trend analysis, promotion management (Black Friday, Prime Day…), and consistency between order portfolio and availability.Monthly follow up with Amazon European Key Account Managers, Controlling and Supply Chain teams to keep logistic forecast and financial target aligned in volumes and value.Reporting and analysis of Forecast Quality and continuous improvement activities related to the KPI.Out of stock analysis and root cause deep dive to prevent it for the future leveraging on supply parameter, forecasting, using Amazon tools and programs.Understand and manage all last-minute solutions to mitigate impact of missing availability in case of demand pick.Support on defining supply parameters to guide the level of stock on stock owner, material group, and share with Amazon European Key Account Managers slow mover to find sales opportunities.Supervising availability and highlighting to both the Group Fulfilment team and Amazon's European Key Account Managers any critical issues on the stock due to unforeseen sell-out peaks.Job ProfileQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or equivalent.3+ years of experience in the role within structured and moderately organized environments.Numerate with strong IT (PC) skills especially within SAP (nice to have) and Microsoft Office (mandatory).Advanced Excel skills.Commercial awareness.Strong Analytical Background.Desirable Skills:Experience of SAP IBP.Strong analytical approach.Team working attitude.Active and persuasive approach on problem disclosing.Result oriented.Accuracy in meeting deadlines and targets.High problem solving capability.Communicative skills.Benefits:Open to a full remote way of working.Flexible time and one day-off per month.Company restaurant.Technical and soft training.Job rotation.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, we reject and condemn any form of discrimination including discrimination based on age, gender, sexual orientation, health, race, nationality, cultural background, political opinions and religious beliefs, and membership of associations and trade unions.
